India’s SUV market experiences growth due to a fall in price
India’s SUV market has experienced a surge in vehicle sales as more than half of its inventory sold in September. Also, the July-September annual quarter was dominated by SUVs, even more than the sales volume of both sedans and hatchbacks.
Currently, this impressive growth is propelled by the fall in the price of SUVs as companies adopt the body style which attracts lower GST rates. Additionally, the broadening highway and roadway networks also raise the demand for this type of vehicle as owners have more ground clearance to traverse.
